I also have the stub axles & I can get the spring plates
what is the advantage of using these?
also, what effects both positive and negative would it have on a beetle.
.eg, will i need wider guards at the back if i want to fit 17x7 wheels and these?

there not lighter 400 grams heaver but they don,t twist like the steel arms better bearing support and if you want porsche wheels and brakes easer for engineering. They are wider than the beetle irs rims but with the right wheel offset the track offset want be that bad. track is measured tyre center to tyre center.
