does anyone out there have an expanded view of exactly where all the tinware goes back on the engine? if so, please post it... I put most of it back together but have 3 bits left
thanks
need a bit more info; what sort of engine...?
1600 out of a 72 super bug
need more info parra
what are the left over pieces like
the most common ones i see left out are the square under cylinder tins (above the pushrod tubes) and the lower cylinder tins at the either side of the crank pulley
or possible the doghouse shrouding

thanks ive got it worked out
Ah that doghouse outlet piece, yeah, my Splitty's missing that. BAD! Gotat put that on before the weather gets warm.
Good photos dub74L.:thumb
Yes,
Good pics,
and the doghouse oil cooler outlet is very important...
You have to get that HOT air away from the engines fan
I've seen diagrams of all the tinware, but it never really shows where it goes..
plus there are a lot of variations [beetles - Kombis]
plus in the US with Fuel injection etc...
