The clutch tube on my 67 beetle is broken. is there a easy way to repair this or will i have to cut open the tunnel and weld in a new tube?

You can use a hole saw to cut open the tunnel near the brackets that hold the tube in place

Only problem is you need t oknow where to use the hole saw

I would take the car to a place that has done this job before
I read it on FACEBOOK so it must be true

I can see that its the brackets that have broken and not the actual tube.

Thats good

Just do what vw54 said

Make sure if you do weld tube do not blow through preventing cable access

Good Luck
