Hi there is there any compatible solid steel wheels that will go on a type 3 square back? Im looking at trying to get them to look like Beetle solids.
Cheers

Will they be more positive or negative offset? ie in towards suspension or out toward gaurd lip?

do you mean you want rims like the 5 stud solid style? (ie: no holes?)
i have never seen 4 stud vw rims in solid style

What about filling in the holes of standard 4 bolt wheels? May look bad but may not.

Yeah thats kinda what I want Get em powder coated. So welding them up is the only way to go by the sounds of it.

I would be worried about cooling the disk if you were going to be driving a lot. The disks don't seem to be that thick and being solid they may warp.

probably easier to convert it to wide 5, using early front and rear ends.

Gday Rhett Yeah I think I'll just stick with the 4 stud wheels and get em powder coated just looking for solid as they would look cleaner is all. Thanks all
