i've got a narrowed adjustable k&l beam with discs and i want to drop spindle it. what do i need to look for to ensure that your kit will fit? and is your set just spindles or are you selling the discs too?

you need to look no further as this a king & link pin drop spindle kit for disk brakes ( no disks included ) so thats spindles c/w new link pin rebuild kit all in a box never fitted ( new )

Josh.... Are your discs OG or aftermarket?..... Neil's spindles will only run OG VW discs (130PCD) and calipers or aftermarket discs designed to use balljoint bearings........ Some aftermarket 'wide5' disc (205PCD) brake kits are made to fit OG LP spindles and will not work on drop spindles as they use 'slider' style calipers.....
Just a word of warning....
And the price is bloody good by the way....

Don't be so hasty Josh.... What have you got?.... There is more than one way to make it work..... I have fitted OG TIII discs to a LP spindle in the past.... Just need to know what you have first.... Im currently putting a 4 wheel disc brake package together for Reuben that runs 205PCD and drop spindles (Same as on my car)... Just need more info from you to confirm your needs....
mine is a 10 year old kit made by vvws that i got second hand, it has porsche stud pattern and beetle 4 by the looks of things. i got told it needs late beetle bearings today. by the way, can i put a duel circuit master cylinder on my 67 bug? how?

Well it sounds like Neils drop spindles will work then.... Sounds like a kit I made for my LP bug back in the early 90's.... Does your brakes use VW calipers too?.... A dual circuit MS will bolt right on.... You will need to source new hardlines (I pull them off VW wrecks) for the front brakes I think (its been a while since I've done one!!), new soft line for the reservoir and a late model dual circuit reservoir to suit (again, pulled from a wreck).... And if you haven't done it for a while, you should replace the brake lines to the calipers too while your there...

Neil,
Received the drop spindles and rebuild kit today.Thanks for moving them so quickly ;only problem now is, I cant fit them untill I get my narrowed beam built and installed.After the Heathcote VWCV Drag meeting on the weekend I'm motivated to build the Ghia into a steet/strip car and the drop spindles should compliment the "look" nicely.
