At last a forum for the ugly step child. What are we going to kick it off with? I'll start...hands up who has a type 3 or KG. I have a '69 notch which I drive every day. Compliments the TAT turbo beetle. I know this has been done before but it will be easy to search on now. I got them from ISP west's ebay page. They look cool but they don't fit very well, I had to sand them for ages to get them close to the correct shape.
