I think my all time favorite was a VR? VS commodore, black with the rear bumper removed and some sort of massive tin can muffler where the exhaust used to be,
It just looked so stupid and pointless as you may actually loose power with an exhaust that size.
Can we also please include pointless custom license plates?
Things like FOOTY, ZIPPY, BAD350

no front bumpers on the front of fully sik VL turbos and S13s so they can show off their hektik intercoolers looks just as pathetic

Another pet peve of mine is people, especally trucks who want to drive with like 8 driving / spot lights going in the middle of the city!
What is with that?
I went down to the shops about 6am yesterday, came back home, around the corner and this stupid truck had 10 driving lights blazing on the front of his truck.
Why?
I'm sorry but everyone should drive with weak 6 volt lights, might make them slow down a bit at night.

And, the sorts of boasts you are making about your mum never having had an accident are the exactly the sorts of boasts (starting with "in my day" and in ending in "haven't had an accident in 85 years") the above glove wearers make , while driving in the right hand lane at 10-20kmh below the speed limit and frustrating anyone below the age of 55.
However, I'm sure your mum isn't like that. 😉
BTW, I don't personally have an issue with ricers per se.... as long as they don't drive like tools... mmm, that's very few people to have an exception for isn't it.

cept i was already half deaf by the time i was 22
good thing about a vw theyre so solid they dont rattle to much
