Good Spare parts?

Hello I wonder, what are good spare parts to have on hand for the discerning 6 volt Beetle owner? What spare parts are good to keep in case something decides to give up the ghost? I have x2 spare fan belts, the x2 sump plate seals, 6 volt tail light bulbs. Are there anything engine wise that are hard to find or acquire as original items that should be snapped up and kept as spares? generator? Obviously a spare engine would be nice, but any accessory parts of the motor that are good to have on hand?

I was more thinking at home yes, but no harm in talking about things to include in the car.

Although I tend to break more than I fix on cars, I do carry a small toolbox with screwdrivers, adjustable wrenches, rope, tape, pliers, wire, cutters, Stanley knife, etc..
Anything I can do with these is about the limit of my mechanical skills anyway..

Now all these things do NOT weigh more than a spare tyre/wheel - and I don't carry a trolley jack as they are too heavy... only a VW jack....
