(early bug engine bays are tight with a later motor)🤪 had her started today, but still need to finish off a few things so hopefully by tomorrow arvo she will be ready to go. just to give u a run down, i transferred ur original regulator, generator, coil, dissy cap, rotor and clutch plate from the old 36 ( they were either needed for the conversion or better then what was on the doner engine) had to modify the breastplate tinware and a few other little things.... after everything is adjusted and sorted, ill take her for a test run and call u after that... talk to u tomorrow, cheers adam
Hahaha... "she was a little tight but I got her in"...you're a wordsmith mate, pure class.
That's great news, I was expecting it by friday, but the sooner the better, I had a feeling you would transfer a few of the parts from my old motor since they were only replaced by you guys recently.
I gave shannon's a call this afternoon, they are soo easy going, said no problem at all, put a note against my account to say engine change was happening, all I have to do is let them know the new engine number once its in.no change too my cover what soo ever.
speak to you tomorrow.
