SPAM via aussieveedubbers
The email address I use here is specifically used solely for aussieveedubbers, and I've started getting spam from other sources (usual ex
Nigerian govt official giving away $20million etc) which I can only presume came from the members list off this site.
Can anything be done to hide email addressess to stop people using them for spam.
I'm going to have to turn off display my email address now!! :jesus
Thanks
Steve

Saw a show on it on SBS a couple of weeks months abo from England.
The number of freaks, normal people, who hand over money!
Bloody greedy - no wonder these people do it!
Hmmm i wonder how to stop it?

We've been crawled by a spam engine, which means that any e-mail address you did have is now entered on various spam lists until the end of time.
I get about 100 pieces of spam a day. The only solution is Spam Assassin.
http://www.spamassassin.org
About a 99.9% success ratio and I get it to delete the crap before I get it. Your ISP may be able to help you get it going.
I will look into fixing the code that displays people's e-mail addresses in HTML form.

Heh heh,
My brother and I use each others email addresses when we sign up for stuff so the other get heaps of rubbish as a consequence. Don't care if I
get spam, I just delete it as soon as.
So how do I get onto that 5 million?

I remember a school outing in the late 80's where we went to the State Bank (remember when we had them?) vault.
They let us hold a freshly unwrapped from the mint $100,000 stack of the white paper $100s.
Not as thick as you'd expect. If only I had three of those right now. Pay the house off and trade the NB for a nice Lexus.

my mate has ended up buying another car - a super charged mini (too much money)
He replaced the break pads and they scored/ruined the aluminium discs. The supplier is changing them to the newer models old fashioned cast iron
rotors for free.
He has gone through 3 radiators in as many years - all failed at the same spot.
They last spent a truck load on a fancy (read expensive) auto electrician who has concluded that the building wire of an earth strap was causing too
many stray currents.
Anyway another truck load ( you seen that add for Lotto where the truck is full of $$$$ - he is actually paying a Lotus repair man!) later and the car
is on the road again
Hey - i LOVE the car, just glad HE pays for the repairs and i get to drive it every now and then!
