teathing problems
gday fellow dubbersI have a small problem with my 72 bug in that it wont idel? any ideas please also any tricks to get the fly wheel off as there
seems to be a leak from behind it.
lastly any body no where i can get seat covers made at a reasonable cost......many thanks people.clyve

oil leak will need the motor out as for idle could be a few things blocked jet or timing good luck

idle can also be the idle solenoid as well ,and it helps where you are for seat covers as in Sydney you can have them made out at ingleburn

The stalling could be a few things but likely culprits are vacuum leaks or a blocked idle jet.
Also check the cutout solenoid on the side of the carb is working too.
What are you after for seat covers?
You mean actual new upholstry or just some slip on seat covers?
For new upholstry you would be better off to buy the snap on kits from TMI and the like overseas.
A local re upholsterer would charge a fortune to recover them.
