wiper arm removal
probably a dumb question, but can anyone tell me how to remove the wiper arm from the spline on a 67 bug?

I am pretty sure that you just pull the arm off from what i can remember. It is pretty much just clipped on from what i can remember.

Undo the 12mm nut... The chrome one just under the arm
There is a brass wedge under there that that nut locks into the arm base

Remove the nut, spray it with some WD, get two flat screwdrives and with one each side, lever it off. Lift the wiper arm up so that there is no
jamming of the pivot to the shaft. . Before reassembly, make sure that it is thoroughly cleaned of all corrosion and oiled well so that the next time
you want to take it off it will come off very easily.
PS There are no dumb questions, but there are dumb answers.
