Good 1 5/8 Header for bug

Hey everyone,

I'm after a good quality 1 5/8 merge system for my 1916.

I'm new to VW's and the parts that go with them so some ideas to follow up would help out and places to buy them.

Cheers,
Conan

Conan , I have in stock the full merged 1 5/8" headers from Decade , Bugpack , Empi and Scat . These are available in raw { black paint } , ceramic coated steel or stainless steel . These are a full header system with a long merged collector that will end up right at the beaver panel and therefore will pertrude out under the bumper bar . These headers are priced from $ 154 . I also have several tail pipes like the fatboy , mondo , hide-a-way and highmount if you need them . You will need to make somewhere between 120 and 160 HP to warrant the use of this size pipe . I will also have in a couple of weeks time the Genuine A-1 Sidewinder headers in raw and ceramic coated , ROD , 02-42729920 .

as Rod said ^^^

Unless you are make good power out of your 1916 a 1 3/8" or 1 1/2" header will be fine

I run a mild 1916 with a 1 3/8" full merged header and make ok power

Consider the Vintage Speed as well
Not equal length fully merged system but a quality one that fits

Rod have you got a number I could give you a buzz on to sort out what my best option would be. I sent you a PM explaining what I wanted to do but I'm not sure if it sent.

Cheers,
