CV Joint installation help
Hi Guys
I am in the process of doing an irs conversion on my bus including replacing the gearbox
It uses bay window CV joints on the outside (closest to wheels) I have new ones but am unsure of which way to install them.
Does the line go toward the gearbox or closest to the wheels?
I have googled the crap out of this to no joy so any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
Ash

Hi
The side with the groove goes to the flange, the other side goes to the boot, there should be a raised section on the inner star, this goes towards
the axle. Have you had your axles or cvs modded to fit on the Beetle shaft? The Kombi CV is thicker.
