| Boozer's Baja Mk2 is Done!

well, sorta. It's registered anyway. I bought the baja from kroozzn63 in December last year on election weekend. Dad and I did a 27 hour round trip
with a car trailer to Sydney and back from Brizzie to pick it up and somehow managed to vote inbetween. The original plan was to do a fast cleanup and
register it and continue working on it from there, but that quickly died when several unforseen problems showed up. So several months behind shedule
it's registered. The twopack paint still needs to be cut back, buffed and touched up here and there but looks good for Dad's first ever paintjob in
2pack in a ancient garage. The interior is just odd mismatched bits from all over and is high on the list to be fixed. So these are all the photo's
I've been able to grab for now. More will be on the way with progress to follow!

Oh and in case you were wondering (I bet you weren't!) why I've been relatively scarce lately it's because of this...

Yes, you will. And yes it is the turbo 1916 that was for sale. It needs finetuning but even as it is, it's scary fast acceleration wise.

I've still got the old green and purple beastie, it's just....slightly rusty. It's currently up at my parents farm, served some time as a paddock
basher and doing a very good job, till the gearbox packed it in. So it's been partially stipped for parts and stuff. The 1600DP in it was still very
strong and will be going in my brother's baja. There's no point me getting rid of it as it's not worth the effort. One day when I'm bored I might
get stuck into it and do a take on a 70's baja or something.

Pastit, it's a 1970 1500 with a wide eye cheetah copy kit that came with it. Well, not really. The only parts of the baja kit that came with it we
retained were the bonnet and nosecone. The other guards were too much work and I just happened to have some thicker, stronger guards from the parts
pile that were much better, cept for the LHR one which was snapped almost in half.

Shit yeah! It never missed a beat. Can't kill that one.

Hey, Kroozzn63 nah I haven't got the disc kit on yet but it's on the list. Rego and engineering was....interesting. But it passed and has blue
plates so that's cool.
