It was those 3 ridges below the waist line that gave it away, that is token VK-VL Commodore.
I only picked VK cos of the raised section between the headlights, VLs are flat there.
Gotta love 1980s streamline designing....

Notches definitely make the best looking softops.
I remember back in the early 90s a company on the goldcoast had a fleet of softtop bugs all painted yellow for hire, I used to see them everywhere.
They even had a few type 3 softops but they were fastys and looked pretty wrong but the worst I've seen is sqaureback softops.
That is just nasty.

Yeah thats a real shame yeah sure ok for a white fasty or on some multi
colored hack job, but a very nice rare original colour like that in good condition? kind of a waste.
