Jimmy,

Your rear seat/bed looks to be the same as mine even down to the "aftermarket" gate hinges, though mine have been welded on. I'm not sure how it would go in an accident b/c the seat would go forward but the passenger(s) would be held down by the seatbelts. :(

Interestingly my kombi was registered here in Vic no problems about 4 years ago. The compliance plate says it's a 2 seater but I thought they would barf at the rear seat arrangement.

the seat does bolt in at the back. Theres a pic of it, but the other side doesn't. It's pretty tight (panel beaters musta done something) now.nn[Edited on 12/9/2005 by jimmy ]
