Dave Butler worked his magic on the gear box, changed all the gears to albans and put a 4 spider gear diff in it... see how long that holds until i have to put a limo in it.

Nice conversion..is that GT3540 aka gt35r running a 1.06 rear housing or a 0.82?. If its a 1.06 it may have a heap of lag. I run a 3540 on my mazda with 280rwkw and rotors are known to flow masses of exhaust gas..Just a thought..the 0.82 would give awesome drivability given the 300-350 neddies you are after..cheers.

Well she is on the road... thanks god for that, thought it was never going to get there, didn't make action day and i don't think it will be tuned before Warick either.... oh well always next year !

Atm its running 9 pound boost and OMG it comes on hard.... maybe to hard !

Dave, the gear box is so sweat, great work mate, but i dont think the clutch is going to hold up tho, get a bit of slip on full boost

After a week of fun she spat it... lost oil pressure and did a bearing... so looks like it time to pull it out and do a forged bottom end.. at 9 pound boost is lost traction in 2 and 3rd on the stock motor so the new one will run around 18 - 20 pound and should be insaine... maybe preorder another box from dave !

Well after spinning a bearing on the old stock motor, the new motor is finaly built and back in, had the heads ported, ARP head studs and bolt kit, double valve springs fitted, forged pistons, big cam, ross balancer, then all ballanced, brass cluch and stage 3 pressure plate.
I'm having trouble with the tune on the kalmaker computer, so a Haltech platnum computer has been ordered, then off to the tuners
Also a new engine loom was made by http://www.sideshowsperformancewiring.com.au
He can wire any motor into any car, knows his stuff and is a top bloke.

Hellbuggered... yer enough to brake traction under boost.... i could goto 400hp, but i think Dave's gearbox handy work would needed again at that amount.
