its different mounting on a bug,than on a type 3.my plates aint in the middle they are mounted down on the bracket,as i couldnt be bothered drilling
holes in the plates to centre them.gonna do it today tho..

Thanks mate.
Wont be driveing it for a while yet got to sort out the steering properly and then lower the rear again to match the front.then give the carbys a
tickle as its running to rich.and also put the rear window back in with the chrome trim around it.
Dammn never ends hehehaaa.

Drive it for the first time in ages.
Bit of a bumpy ride,but I love the new front end and how,Lowww it is.
Only problem was how the motor was running.wouldn't run in third gear it started poping and had no power il have to check that out now.

Old girl had a hit on the rollers today to re jet the carbs,and to get it running good.
Started at 26.9 and ended up with 35.5hp
Runs great now.motor will probably blow up next time i drive it hahahaa.
