with the fuel tank & water tank installed , I now have to fabricate support brackets from the mounting plate to the chassis . I will then start to mount the fuel pumps & surge tank etc

I install an additional brake fluid reservoir which will feed the brake fluid to the 2 master cylinders . This will enable me to keep a check on the fluid level without having to disassemble any of the car to get to the master cylinders on the pedal assembly .

I then fabricate a mounting plate for the fuel surge tank , EFI fuel pump & Carter lift pump

the internal rear panels had to be cut to enable correct fitment , I add an aluminum support plate where they were cut

new front & rear cross-drilled discs are purchased in Chevy/Porsche pattern . All new wheel bearings are installed . Rear wheel spacers in 12mm are also purchased

I split the front alloy Brembo calipers to remove the bakelite spacer blocks so that I can use them on the solid discs , as these calipers were traditionally used on ventilated discs . It is a very good thing that I did pull them apart as the person who assembled them had pinched one of the seals & they would have certainly leaked

the alloy Bremo calipers are installed and fit perfectly with the solid front brake discs . These calipers bolt directly to the type-3 stub-axle assemblies without any adaptor plates

yeh I know Simon , I have been a bit slack with this one as I have been very busy helping Ben , Chris & Cindy with their cars and also the new engine build for the oval (not to mention a long pointy thing that arrived from US) ..... I should have had this car on the track long before now , but it wont be too far away . I am nearly ready to strip the entire car for powdercoating / detailing , then back together it goes for the final build .

Thanks Marcus , we are now preparing Ben Ford' supercharged drag bug for Warwick while I am working on DTTF ..... Bens bug made 332hp@ 4500rpm at the wheels and wont breath after that . We are remaking his supercharger manifolds for better flow ..... but I want to stay working on DTTF until it makes noise and is finally on the track !!
Last night Dean & I sorted out what fuel fittings & hose we need up front , I then installed the clutch slave cylinder , then installed the new turbo ready for exhaust connection

I have done more work on DTTF . The hydraulic clutch slave cylinder has been installed ..... the new T-70 turbo is installed with the exhaust flange ring & clamp

I purchase 2x 4" mandrel bends and a 4" to 3" reducer for the exhaust pipe from turbo to muffler . Here the new 4" mandrels are pictured beside a 2.5" alloy 90degree mandrel to show their massive size . A new flange plate is bolted to the muffler

By the way, my old man built RH a trailer for this car back in 1998-9 so have a keen interest to see this finished and going.
