Kombi Front Cut---Where do I cut it?
Bought myself a motorless 78 Kombi to use the gearbox , front end and brakes in a mid engined special I am building. It's pretty rusty except for the
front which is in pretty good nick so I was thinking of selling the complete front including good dashboard, instument panel,windscreen, electrical,
ducts and maybe steering column as a complete unit. Correct me if I am wrong but this is known as a front cut?
My query is , is there a prefered location where the front should be cut off and if so where? OR should I just adveritise it as a "front cut",
negotiate what is to be included in the sale price and cut it off to suit the purchasers requirements?
I don't want to get in a position where I cut it and buyers say "oh I really needed it cut in a different location" and then it's hard to sell.
Any advice would be appreciated

Exactly,
Cut as far back as possible - you never know what someone might need.
It might save 2 x kombis.

Thanks for the info. Never even thought of cutting it behind front seats. In my mind I thought front cut was just the front panel. Mind set was trying
to work out how to cut around pedals, gear change steering column. Cut behind seats is so much easier and I can offload the doors as well in one
hit!
