100? I think? depends where really. I know some will pay as low as 50 and some apparently will pay up to 200 a ton. Haven't seen the later myself.

Last time I checked, the price was pretty low. I got a quote of $130 a tonne, but that was a couple of months ago, so worth checking again. It has
been up to about $200 a tonne in the past I think. I recently sold a Bedford van to U-Pull-It, they paid me $100 cash and picked it up for me on a tow
truck. Much easier than hiring a trailer and going through all the hassle of towing it yourself, and better return on your money as well.

As far as I know the licenced tow operators get more than you will if you walk in off the street. In Brisbane, one place close to me is 10c per kg or
$100 per tonne, another that is further away is 15c per kg or $150 a tonne. But unless you have a lot to scrap it's not worth driving the extra.
Most of the ones who take it away free will pay for complete cars because they resell them, its usually a sideline for towies when the work is slow.
If it's worth anything they resell it, if its an XD falcon they scrap it. The best option is to contact the scrap merchants themselves, most of them
will have a tilt tray and will at least pay you something if the car can't make it under its own steam.
And in any event, if the car is drivable to the point where it can be driven to a scrap yard, it is probably worth more to sell anyway.
