Dashboard rattle

My 71 bug has an annoyong rattle that sounds like it's coming from the drivers side dash near the window. I've tried to touch the area and put pressure on the dash the window and door to see if I could locate it. Anyone have any ideas?

I had a similar problem but the other side.. I think it might have been the wiper arm loose or something like that.. :?:

I had a similar rattle, turns out it's the movement in the bottom door hinge. It only happens when the door is closed. I packed the hinge with a galvanised steel plate, realigned the door, and it went. The sound travels in the car and it's hard to locate. I found out by accident by opening the door when I was driving down a bumpy road.

Forgot to add, in my efforts to find a rattle, I used my old mobile phone's video function and stuck it in places where noises were (like under the front hood, facing towards all the gubbins in the dash) with a torch, while driving around. There are one or two things that make noises there!
