what windscreen wiper motor is used???

I'm wondering what type of wiper motor was used in CBs..

I have a new 12 volt windscreen wiper motor -
MITSUBA made in japan which comes complete with a stainless steel wiper arm and wiper blade which looks similar to the early VW wiper blade..
It has an on-off switch on the back of the motor and is self parking
[auto stop]...
now the threaded shaft is nearly 70mm long and the wiper shaft approx 20mm long from the end of the threaded part - with a rubber grommet on the end of the thread and shaft..
unit is shiny black... looks similar to CB.. Maybe not a direct fit???
I would think it is made to cut off so it would fit many vehicles..
Probably a generic wiper motor...
if anyone is interested let Me know.. I can send you a picture of the unit.

Lee
