type 3 engine lid into a kombi


hey
im just about to put in the V6 and need this in the engine area
has anyone got any pics of theres in the rear of there kombi???
how much have you cut out etc?

Rhys,
have a look under the floor above the engine and you'll see a square section running down both sides and across in front of the fuel tank cover and across the back above the engine lid. If you cut around against the flat bit where it is spot welded to the floor above you will find that a Type 3 engine cover section cut out with about 2.5 cm around the outside will fit in perfectly. This is what I did with mine.
