electrical fault quiz?

Drove my buggy to work this morning, when I used the blinker the ignition light came on and off with the blinker. This is the first time it has happened since rebuild (stock vw wiring etc).
When I drove the car home everything worked fine.

I haven't looked at anything yet, thought I'd ask for the off chance somebody might guess the problem before I get a chance to check it out?

cheers clarkey.

check the back of speedo first and see if the globes half hanging out of the fitting . and causing the additional lighting

check the wires n make sure there not contacting each other as well.

could be a simple thing, and seeing its a buggy could be a number of things.

Yeah i would just say take a look just behind the speedo and just look for a loose wire that is moving around.

Having just fiddled with lotsa wiring on my buggy, I'd say to definately follow the ideas above, ie look behind the speedo. The connections are fairly close together and all it needs is for a loose crimped connection to move a bit and touch the one next door, and you have extra lights.

As they said, check all the globeholders and connections.

Good luck.
