009 vs 050 distributors
Does anyone know anything about the 050 distributor?
How do they compare to the 009?

After having both on the same engine I would have to say that the 009 is way better.
With the 009 my 31/10.5/15 mud tyres will actually spin on the bitumen, something the car wouldn't do before with the 050.
Thanks for your help Moose.
I can't wait to try it on dirt now!

i am curious to try an 050 as i have been told they will be better for my t4
if anyone has one available, send me a u2u.
i will be running with a compufire kit, so points, rotor and cap are not required
cheers

i think that should read 'smaller rod ratio'
according to my reading, they will be more responsive on a t4
i have managed to score one, so i may have the dyno data to show the difference, if any.
might be a while coming though....
everything else on my ride has taken a while, so i imagine this will be the same

I have had Jake Raby explain that the 050 has a better advance curve for type 4 motors than the 009 dizzy.
