A new gearbox. Sorry its terminal. Had the same thing happen to my 1200 1966 box years back after I put a 1600 behind it.

WOW Ian, Nice looking ride.

Will all boxes suit? I have a 1600 motor.

The box in question is a 1500 I am informed. What a pain. The thing was apparently rebuilt some time ago. I guess rebuilding the gearbox is fairly specialist eh?

How big a job is it to remove and replace the gearbox...I am prepared to tackle most jobs and have rebuilt a motor before but never replaced a gearbox.

Afew other things to check, are the rubber mounts and the gear shift linkage under rear seat.
