SImple n00b fan-case question
Are the two holes/ports facing out the back of the fan shroud feeding air INTO the fan, out of the fan or one each?

They usually feed air for the heater system. It is very common to plug em up, just means no heater.

these push air out (away from the fan) , they are used for the heater

your also missing some tin, this means your fan will suck hot air from the exhaust and try to cool the engine.

They should blow out into the heat exchangers on a stock exhaust for the heater.

Its that still an issue for a baja? I dont think any of the pics ive seen have tin around the bottom of the motor.

Yeah definitley need all of the side tin and an engine tinware seal.
You have to keep the top of the engine sealed from the bottom, and the only way air can get through is by the main fan. This is to stop hot air that
has passed over the engine bores and heads going back up again.

judging by the pic, you should be able to use stock tinware as your rear apron panel looks stock. Remember to replace the rubber engine bay seals
too...
