Trying to decide on which daily ride - thoughts?
Need a new -work/kid shuttle- so peak hour traffic and weekend use. Need to transport kids to school. Hwy blap to work and back....don't wanna blow
more than $15k on it.
Was thinking late Mk1 Golf Cabrio - wife might like that
Later model 1.8 Golf GTI, like a 91ish
Golf VR6
Or more recent Golf GL Cabrio
Trying to avoid buying run of the mill machine. Not hung up on Cabrio's though.
Not to 'into' Golfs, used to have a GTi16v years ago in the UK, but it was new, so was as you'd expect at the time.
So....all you water pumping Golfers ... given a target spend of 10-15k what's the best option???
-oh only really want a VW at this point-
Cheers

Buy a Polo. 11/2001 model
air con, cd, power windows, dual airbags, alloy wheels
1.4 L 16V, get 7.4L per 100 Km
cheaper, cheaper to run, newer than a golf, and not much smaller or slower
Get 2 grand change from your 15
Call me 0425 211 352

Go the Polo. They look sweet.
Golfs look too podgy these days.
