Not a breakdown but a close second....
Driving in the kombi yesterday and I stoped at a little servo about 20 mins out of town. While there I was mucking around with the keys and bent the
Kombi key.
ARRRGGGGGGHHHHH.
It was bent at 90 Degrees but not yet snapped, in bending it back it snapped in to two.
This is my only key for the Kombi, so there I was stuck out of town, wife and kids in the car and a broken key.
I ended up carefully pushing the broken peice into the ignition then the rest of the key and it all lined up and I could start and got home.
This mornings job will be to get the peice out of the ignition switch and try to get a new/fix the key.
Any suggestions
Jeremy
I hate these sort of little jobs (little meaning small but painfully long)

Well spent most of the day getting the small piece of key out of the ignition and putting the switch back together.
Took the two pieces of key to the locksmith and he cut me a key from the number stamped on the key rather than copy the old and worn key.
So, all sorted and going again.
(Even got a spare key cut aswell)
