DHMO and VWs

DHMO is frequently found in later model veedubs and increasingly is making its way into older cars.

Dihydrogen monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless and accidental inhalation can kill.

Prolonged exposure to its solid or gaseous forms causes severe tissue damage.
Symptoms of DHMO ingestion can include excessive sweating and urination, and possibly a bloated feeling, nausea, vomiting and body electrolyte imbalance.

Dihydrogen monoxide:
* may cause severe burns.
* contributes to the erosion of our natural landscape.
* accelerates corrosion and rusting of many metals.
* may cause electrical failures and decreased effectiveness of automobile brakes.
* has been found in excised tumors of terminal cancer patients

Most of us wilfully expose ourselves to dihydrogen monoxide every day.

Reduce the risk by keeping it out of your VW! :smirk:

ok, right I get it, I'll make my self a dunce cap and go back to my crayons.

BTW, I've found it does quite a good job of cooling my subie engine, and it's quite nice mixed with neat red cordial too. :smirk:
