I thought the ones on the ferrari were called globes and the one on the panel were called slots. Anyone seen any peeknuckles (could be incorrect spelling) lately. I last saw a set about 5 years ago and almost bought them.

Magnum was the brand that manufacture the wheels in my post - not the style

bizarre, those ones you posted are hurricanes, my bro had a set on his bay.

The kidney slot wheels on the bay are a copy of some American racing wheels made during the 70. You are able to buy them for just about any stud pattern ever, including wide 5. Flat four make them.

HRM, have you seen Rod Hadfield's Hadibrand wheels? They are a copy of a halibrand from the 70s and look awesome, even if they are a little pricey.

http://www.rodshop.com.au/index.htm

Can't find em on the website, but I know he makes them in 15x4 through to about 15x10. He can drill them to any stud pattern you like.

I can get a set of REAL Halibrands if I wanted them, at the moment they are being used as seats for kids in a shed.

I really just wanna see the Magnums, but guess I have to wait until the end of the week.

ive seen those ones of barrys around but hurricanes had more spokes than those and where usually 7" and seen on carrera bugs
i've always known the 5 slot ones as jelly bean or kidney mags
nearly all those 4 stud 70s mags were made by ROH just with different brand names cheviot, aunger, performance etc

My 6 slot kidneys went to bugbrained. 14x7 differnet offsets custom made in South Australia.
