beetle driving him round the farms dropping off forms

I said that my religion is Bokononism. I think only 7 people said it at the last census. I hope that I am now the only one.

my housemate was very nice and filled in the form neatly and politely... i filled it out whilst drunk and made the executive decision to write outside
the boxes 
then we ignored the guy 3 times, and when i finally decided to open the door, i let the dog out first then stood there all innocently and said
"oops... scuse the dog... SPARKY NO... HE'S NOT A MORMON.... sorry... RIGHT.. YES... the forms... they're around here somewhere... don't mind
Sparky... be right back"...
evil?.. perhaps... but who collects census forms?... honestly!!!

after reading ur sutff...i feel really sorry for the collectors.
poor ppl...contending with dogs, Bokononism's & jedis....hmmm...i just hope none of u ppls live on the other side of my fence..
wait...maybe ur still better than the stoners and nudists? nah...their ok...so long as u dont wave while their naked...

I collected for the 1981 census, got bitten by a dog and the owner told me to piss off, the worst people simply refused to believe that I could sool
the cops onto them and told me to piss off. What a great job that was. I didn't do it this time. I can take just so much abuse.

I applied to be a census collector last time... and didnt get it. Would have been some good pocket money for a uni student. 
The census was pretty boring mundane questions that everyone I know already knows about me. Most of it the government could put together anyway by
linking birth and tax records and other records. Didnt bother me filling it out. Only took 10 mins. Plenty more things to be pissed at govt about.. eg
selling telstra shares at a nine yr low. and more.

A friend of mine and his partner are census collectors, bloody good money $2000 for only 500 houses.
I did mine online, most of the questions I answered incorrectly...LOL.
Apparently when you do it online, it then sends an sms to the collector to tell them not to bother coming back to your house.

Had to do mine on school surf camp and go through census forms with x40 15-16yr old kids! Then the collector came round and we couldnt get rid of him
- just wanted to chat and chat and chat and chat.......
