EJ22 Bay - Engine Brace/Mount Tech Drawing WTD
Anyone got a tech drawing for the engine brace needed to mount and EJ22 into a bay. Got a mate with a fabrication factory, so want to make some up,
one for me, some more for others...
thanks

Here is mine.
The link .. http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=46532
The finished product.
The section in the middle is for a type 1 style engine mount cradle that I made to support the 1600 002 bellhousing.
The two other braces bolt to the original rear cross member hangers.
There is also two angle brackets that bolt on to the standard subi mounts.
This cross member is for a standard depth sump (I'm not lowering the van) and will have the same clearance to the road.
Early bays and late bays have different dimensions between the chassis rails.
Here is the cross member plans that I submitted to engineer.
