Yep! that's very,very fast . Not much imfo on the motor,heads,gear box . I bet Bear , has had a hand in that motor. Dave ,inmagine that combo here for all motor !!!!!! Looks very low ,mean , I hope my yellow car looks that good.

Interesting Intake manifolds, looks like plenum chambers like a tunnel ram? Anyone here tried that?

As far as I am aware, they are just spacers designed to lengthen the intake runner.

The exhaust primary pipes are also long for this reason.

This was done to move the power peak to a lower RPM, and so the gearing was made taller to make better use of this.

The intake and exhaust were originally from a KG that was featured in the DEC 2000 issue of Hot VWs.

This may be the whole engine but with larger bore and/or stroke to increase its size from 2886cc to the current 3256cc.

Tranny in the Ghia had type one 3.88 diff with 3.55, 2.07, 1.44, and 1.09 with 26" tyre.
