On-Line Swap meet
Is there such a thing as a virtual swap meet?
I am looking for bits n pices all the time and it seems a lot of other AVD's are as well..
Rather than use the search function here which isn't exactly fantastic, it seems that a site/location (or thread) could act as a very good connector
for people that have stuff to swap or want stuff..
I prefer to give stuff away that I don't need but that doesn't mean that others would need to.. You could either give away, swap or purchase
(offline)..
The site could be arranged into categories and when you post an item, you can also link to what you need..
eg; I have a set of seats I don't want.. I want a 68up wiper assy..
A fellow AVD seaches in the "Interiors" (Type 1) category for seats.. He locates my post.. He wants the gear so he check what I'm looking for.. He
has a wiper assy.. done deal..
I'm sure there must be something like this already.. What do others think? or Know..

It's not called "Buying, Selling & Swapping Parts" for nothing. Start a thread stating the intention of what you want to achieve and get people to
list their parts for swapping as dot points. As parts go they can edit their post to say the item has gone (In brackets) or simply delete the item
instead of adding another post to say the item is sold. Start a new thread for each month. If it's popular enough it may just stay near the top. If
there are enough requests mod's may even stick it at the top for ease.
As long as it meets the criteria is the buy / sell / swap there should be no problems. If your doing something wrong I'm sure someone will tell
you.
