upgrading brakes


What's the best way of upgrading front and rear brakes and still retain the 4x130 stud pattern.....
this is on a 68 beetle
will the type 3 rear drums work ok? and are they 4x130 as well

Type 3 rear drums bolt straight on and keep teh same stud pattern. You will also need the Type 3 front callipers to keep the bias correct. They also bolt straight on but have a slightly different pistone bore size. The discs are interchangable so you can retain the ones on your car now. better pads up front is a good idea
