engine cases


just wondering who does good work on cases
I wanted to get my case shuffle pinned,decked,and spot faced for 15mm head nuts must do good work.there must be some good out there

In NSW, Dave Stoker from LMS can do what you want.

The shuffle pinning is worthwhile,
but may cause you more headaches than it is worth.

A jig that lines up on the corner dowels is used most of the time in the USA,
since they do them in production runs.

But the ones that I have done I had to do each one thru from the outside
with a long sleeve, one at a time.

Each sleeve required the case to be dissassembled and the main-stud removed.....one at a time.
I kept a crank and bearings inside whilst doing the job to help keep alignment close,
but it will most likely need a line bore afterwards.

You might like to consider one of the new cases that come equiped with them.
