How do I raise the suspension please? Total beginner.
Gday all. Am picking up a totally stock 1970 beetle tonight. Ball joint front with disc brakes, with swing-arm rear and drums.
I want to convert this to a mild baja setup i.e. still capable on-road as well as some off-road, sand etc.
As I am a total beginner, what is the best way to raise the front and rear suspension please?
I am after some extra height for larger tyres and ground clearance.
Also looking for a baja kit please.
Thanks
Dave

you can get adjusters put into the front bar and for the back you can undo the rear spring plates and rotate them one tooth, but ide buy "the bible
"so you can do it properly and safely ,being a swing axle if you lift it too much it will have too much toe in and be very hard to corner with safely
