Golf headlights on beetle

Does anyone know if Golf Mk1 headlights will fit a '71 Beetle?

Morris Mini Minor headlight buckets will fit in the hole with a minimum of fiddling. I've done it to 3 cars so far. They cost about $30 each with sealed beams and you get a good set of lights. You will need to add a coupe of small parking lights.

no the lights bolt on to tabs that are in the bucket, and have a mounting fitted to them ill see if i can find a better photo.
here we go just ignore the writing this is only for example

notice the frame at the back of the light the holes match up with the tabs that are in the stock guard if you look carefully
