ZF Diff
Is there any way to check a country buggy has a ZF diff?
If the car is not running etc do the diffs act like other locker type diffs with both wheels off the ground rotating the same direction?
Where other Volkswagens fitted with these diffs?

The easy way is to drain the oil and have a look through the drain hole.

It's all in the plug....
Craig,
The oil fill plug will be special on a ZF diff tranny. Special oil was used.
Check this link on the Samba Gallery under ZF search.
