Decklid Bonnet Pin to replace handle
Hi there,
I have seen in many a magazine where Bugs have had the decklid handle assembly replaced with a single race style hood pin. As my handle mechanism is
stuffed and I am trying to acheive the old school racer look, I thought that I would give this a go.
My problem however is that the pins are not long enough due to the double skin thickness of the decklid.
Is anyone aware of extra long pins available or a modification that someone has performed to make this work?
Hope you can help.
Thankyou,
Darren

Look on Ebay under 'sparco', I think these pins are long enough and are made from aluminium.
