hahaa, very nice - bet the 'Common'dore thought he was away at the beginning there.

If the gearbox is still good you aint driving it hard :) My box was noisy pretty quick, i wasn't dropping the clutch but i was giving it some.

Well done nonetheless

Ian you have done a great job with this imfamous sleeper. The Exhaust is the funniest thing i think cause the big exhaust gives it away on other sleepers. You will have to take me for a ride one day in it That Would bee a Blastt!!!

just got back to Newcastle after traveling from Valla beach Volkswagen NSW weekend.
the subaru bug went great on the way up I used 7.4:D litres per 100Ks then running around the weekend to street parade and site seeing 8.2ltr per 100Ks

don't think the fuel economy was as good on the way home on Monday as shite the wind was nearly blowing me off the road:crazy::lol::crazy:

Had the car on the dyno , doing 188 KMH
dont realy want to try that down the 1/4 mile
funny Aussie weather 40 deg one day then 20deg and raining.
took the dub for a drive in the rain , it was like driving on Ice ,
not sure if all the hot weather has made the oil come up on the roads and the rain making it really greasy .
Or the fact that my tyres been on my bug since 2004

The 10 year thing is just a suggestion, it depends more on tyre condition.

Dads Bontrike still has its original 1996 factory Khumo tyres on and they are still in perfect shape yet I;ve seen tyres under 10 years old perishing in the side walls that I wouldnt be caught driving on.

Ian what size bars are those?
that should stop it dragging its arse down the strip
