12v Alt problem

Hey,

Driving to the coast this morning and the alt light came on/stayed on!!!! Belt is still on and correct tension etc, all fuses are good, connections, battery (2 months old) everything looks as it should be.... threw a tester on the battery (running) no charge coming from the alt.

This alt is only 3 months old :-( has anyone got any ideas of what has happened here??

Thanks in advance!!!!

If thats a new bosch alternator, My regulator packed it in and i just got it wired for an external regulator. Apparently the regulators are hard to get. Mine works great with an external one. And you can buy the regulators from repco.
