rear axle nut size


hi, whats the size of the rear axle nut ,36mm ? is it the same on both irs and swing. thanks for your imput

hi mate yup same for both or i think some kombis had 40mm nuts wish i had a set of 40's
where are you from other people might be able to help that are local
and they are hard to get off buy a nice 36mm socket about 20 bux 3/4 or inch and a nice bar to suit the put a pipe on the end
also you should have left the cv's on as you will want the car in gear !!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks , i went to bunnings n supercheap, only go to 32mm, now im lookin on ebay. i usually do most things back the front, but at least i only do it that way once.

Most trade tool shops have them. Gasweld, Glenfords and etc.



Thats not rust, it's ah ... orange primer ... yep that's what it is ...

Yer can vouch for that.
Ive had one for ages. A really handy tool.
Especially handdy if you want to remove the nuts with the box out of the car.
