got 2 small tubes of goop with front beam urethane bushes... is it glue or sealant or sumfiN?

Bought a set of urethane long front beam bushes, and the back came with 2 disposable tubes of goop.

Anyone know what it is?

regards,
Chris.

LUBRICANT ==

what color is it?

most likely lubricant to help put the bushes in...

and to lubricate them...

although they will be a tight fit...

My thoughts - Lubricant..

its like milky, and gacky/sticky.... not slippery... (suss much lol)

has a texture like silicone sealant, and the goop factor, yet not the smell.
hang on, will check if its cured. That'll solve the mystery...

(comes back)... no its not cured, its been 17 hrs since it was removed from the tube.

I sloshed it all ova the outside of the bushes, the contact surface between the urethane and front beam tubes... It did make em slide in nicely because they did have a firm fit. Maybe thats what it was. i will just slosh a heap of general purpose/cv/lithium grease inside when i shove the arms in.

wadda ya rekon?

Throw the General purpose grease away....

only use lithium based Moly grease...
