Graham,
I also inquired of the seller.......but you beat me to the punch on this one.
When we consider how few of these are still around, we are really churning up new info in a regular basis thanks to everyone's interest and
research.
Cheers to the CB Forum!!!

Steve

Looks like it's got a beetle front end. Takes away a big part of it's authenticity, & value, for me anyway.

Bill,
Sometimes these eBay ads reveal info that we might not be able to obtain by conventional methods of inquiry such as email.
You may have noted this already, but this seller has included the VIN of the CB in his ad: 118310120
I note you have not yet edited The Register to reflect this new KO entry. Now we have some additional info to add.....KO#, VIN, location, mileage,
color, condition.....
The data base keeps on growing!
Regards,
Steve

Steve,
Yes, I did spot the correct Chassis # in the add. Now wondering if the front end is original as it does seem to sit low as pointed out by
bevoracing
The Register is dragging behind with quite a few new finds and updates needing to be added. Problem is I dont have access to the hosting site these
days and the guy who does the updates does not have the time to make the changes as often as I would like.
I am working with a mate to have the Register hosted on a new site called Volksculture.com. Its a social networking site dedicated to eccetrics like
us but less forumesque. Have a look at the quality of content and the CB test footage if you have not already seen it.

Bill,
Geeez.....you mean to say with all the work you've done on The Register over the years.....I mean hours and hours of running down leads, talking with
people face to face, calling folks to find out about a CB, and likely thousands of email on the subject of CB's, you have to get down on your knees
and beg someone else to post your wonderful research whenever you want to update?????
I had no idea.
That would drive me absolutely nuts......bonkers if I had to deal with that situation.
I think you are right to seek the solution of using another site to host The Register....as long as anyone can have the free and easy access to the
data that they have had before. i don't like the thought of having to sign up or join something to see your longtime work of love.
That's my main thought about a move. If I were you I'd certainly be llooking for ways to bring the administration of that info directly back into
your hands.
Good luck. Keep us informed.
Regards,
Steve
