Cam Gear Fitment
Hi Guys
Just received a SCAT W100 cam and a new gear, went to fit the gear to the cam and have come to a sudden stop. I build engines for a race team and
have never ever seen this before. Normally when you fit a cam gear you have a dowel pin or a timing mark on the cam and the gear. The only mark
this setup has is the timing mark on the cam gear for alignment with the crank.
Whats the deal when fitting the gear to the cam.

Hi
The dot on the gear lines up with the slot for the oil pump. Its the same as a stock cam if you have one handy.
