Type 2 wheel rear track
hi Guys
just wondering does any one know the rear wheel track of a post 72 t2 kombi IRS
just IRS'ed my 1960 Kombi and the wheel track has increased a bit

From the Clymer Transporter Manual, 1961-78:
Rear Track, 1961-67 - 1360 mm
Rear Track, 1968-72 - 1408 mm
Rear Track, 1973-78 - 1455 mm
So a late T2 Kombi has a 95 mm wider rear track than a splittie.

With the track yours will differ as the split has shorter tube & torsion bars compared to t2 I did several split irs conversions in in the early
80's to accomodate engine swaps of the day before subis became the new thing
